Our LCD team enjoyed a wonderful teambuilding weekend in Růžená. We shared great meals, had lots of fun together, and explored the beautiful surrounding nature on a scenic trip.

New publication in Cancer Cell International has just been published.
On November 29, at the Brno Book Festival, MUNI Press introduced the Czech edition of Siddhartha Mukherjee’s latest work The Song of the Cell: Medicine and the New Human. The translation was prepared by Prof. Jan Šmarda. Mukherjee’s book offers a captivating journey through the history of cell research, interwoven with stories of patients, doctors, and scientists, highlighting how modern medicine is transforming our understanding of life and health.
