Open day 2023
Open Day of the Faculty of Science took place on Saturday 21 January and Tuesday 24 January.
Awards of the Director of Dept. of Experimental Biology
The Director of the Department, Prof. Jan Šmarda, gave out awards for significant achievements, development of individual departments and exceptional performance on the occasion of the gathering of the staff of the Institute of Experimental Biology.
13 employees of the Department of Experimental Biology were awarded. The awards were given on the occasion of a meeting of the staff of the Department of Experimental Biology held on Wednesday 14 December 2022.
The awardees from the Section of Genetics and Molecular Biology were prof. Jiří Doškař, who is also retiring as Head of the section this year. He will be replaced by doc. Petr Kuglík, who also received the award from the Director of the Department. The director also awarded doc. Eva Drozdová especially for popularizing research in connection with the 200th anniversary of the birth of G. J. Mendel. The award was also presented to Dr. Pavel Lízal, Vice Dean for Undergraduate Studies at the Faculty of Science, MU.
